Calling all Comic Art artists!  In celebration of our community’s students return to school, we invite you to participate in the   2022 Comic Artwork Contest.  We are excited to see your characters, your stories and your imagination. Selected works will be exhibited at the 

Open Space Gallery at Stone Branch School of Art 

 

Open to all  Montgomery County  grades  K-12 students.

Deadline for submission: New Date May 4th 8pm

Exhibit: New Date May 6- May 20 

 

 

 

Awards:

​

First Place: Grades K-5, 6-8, 9-12 

 Four - 2hour sessions with professional comic artist at Stone Branch School of Art -Value $300

Second Place: Gift Certificate from Plaza Art Supplies - Value $50

Third Place : Gift Certificate from Plaza Art Supplies - Value $25

Winning submissions will be published on a special page of the sponsor’s website.

 

Deadlines:   Art works can be dropped off at 1331 Rockville Pike, Rockville between Thur. April 28-Wed. .  10am-6pm. Submissions will not be accepted after April 30th. 

All submissions must be accompanied by a completed registration form.

Work may be picked up Friday May 20th 4:30-6:30 or May 21 10-6pm. 

Work will not be kept beyond May 21st.
